Our Team

Esther Ahn earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Southern California and went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO) in 2002.
 

During her time at SCCO, Dr. Ahn was awarded the prestigious Dixon Scholarship for achieving the highest GPA and also received the Vision for Excellence Scholarship. She was a four-year member of the Honor Society and actively involved in the Student Association Board.
 

Dr. Ahn stays up to date with the latest advancements in optometry and is committed to providing personalized, comprehensive eye care. She offers a full range of services, including glasses, contact lenses, and vision correction therapy. Known for her attentive approach, she takes the time to ensure her patients are well-informed and confident in their vision care decisions.

Amita Patel was born and raised in Cerritos, California, and has remained committed to serving patients from her hometown. She attended Scripps College and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology.

Dr. Patel pursued research interests upon her graduation from the Channel Islands with a Mellon Grant. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry Degree from Marshall B. Ketchum University (formerly Southern California College of Optometry) in Fullerton, CA. Dr. Patel provides primary care optometric needs for the entire family and fitting of contacts.

Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children. They especially enjoy traveling the globe together.

Dr. Joanne Yoon graduated with honors from The University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry (now MBKU) and was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society.

Dr.Yoon’s care philosophy is to take time to listen to the patient’s needs and to keep up to date with the latest technology and advancements in eye care in order to provide patients with the best comprehensive care. In her spare time, Dr. Yoon enjoys spending time with her two daughters.
